On 21th of October 2015, Dr. Lorri Santamaria and Sharona Jayavant from University of Auckland made a presentation focused on Educational Leadership of Maoris schools’ Principles and its impact on the educational success of Maori students in New Zealand. This seminar was attended by PhD candidates, junior researchers, faculty from the University of Barcelona and members the community of researchers CREA.

Seminar Successful Educational Actions: Transforming education and improving lives of underserved students. Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, Australia)

On 13th of August 2015, Dr Oriol Rios, from the University Rovira i Virgili (Spain) taught a seminar and an open lecture on the Successful Educational Actions (SEAs). The seminar and the lecture, hosted by the Children and Youth Research Centre at QUT, were focused on the impact of SEAs in the transformation of schools and in its influence on the change of underserved students’ life. The audience in both events was very diverse and included: PhD candidates, researchers, scholars and members of the Department of Education of the Queensland Government.
